GIACOMO GALLO
Giacomo is an architect and urban designer, founder of NEW ENVIRONMENTS. He worked on a wide range of international, large-scale urban projects at KCAP in Rotterdam. He gained experience on Dutch urban design and planning processes at MUST in Amsterdam. Before moving to The Netherlands from Porto, he founded the start-up for temporary urban projects CITY.MAKING, funded by the EU. His graduation project was awarded a special mention at Archiprix Portugal.Giacomo is committed to education: the driving force for critical thinking and activism. He is a guest urban design teacher at several higher education institutions, such as the Amsterdam and Rotterdam Academies of Architecture.
